- I was born in Akron, and grew up in Brimfield, Ohio (between Kent and Hartville). I majored in political science and education at Kent State University.I earned my Master's of Library Science in 2001, also at Kent. I have worked as a librarian in Youngstown since 2001. In 2003, I married my husband, Jim, who will soon be selling real estate for Century 21. We have a cat named Annie, and are the proud parents of baby Cameron.
